I started out in this business working for a pre-press company learning all of the adobe programs and becoming quite fluent with Photoshop, and Illustrator to name a few. That later transitioned over to building my first website for Cosco and from that a national award for web design. I went to work for a dot-com firm in town and secured the job of designing Emmis Communications’ first website. After a few years of building websites with that firm, I went to work for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as Sr. Web Designer. Those years tempered my skills as a designer, and multitasker, and introduced me to the motorsports entertainment industry and I loved it. Following my 10 years with IMS, I dove into creating eLearning content for a firm that grew its library to over 700 courses. Customers ranged from Boeing, Harley-Davidson, and SMC to name a few. After 10 more years and a bunch of new knowledge and appreciation for the trade industry, I started my own company creating eLearning content for other companies, logo designs, and environmental displays that are on display on both concourses of the Indianapolis International Airport for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.
I have dabbled in quite a number of design arenas ranging from print to web to eLearning to environmental and I’ve had a blast along the way.
